Lost password, and secure self-destructed I'm trying to do a restore from an old database which wants my lost password, but it's lost what do I do to get my information back onto my new am secure 5.5?

Hi Victor,

Thank you for contacting us and I'm sorry about the issue you are experiencing.  mSecure backups are encrypted with the login password (mSecure 4 or below) or account password (mSecure 5) when the backup file was created. The only way to restore from a backup file is to input the password it was encrypted with. Thankfully, there is no self-destruct option when it comes to trying to restore from a backup file. Unfortunately, we can't help you here. You can keep trying to guess your forgotten old password, try to restore from a different backup file, or start over in mSecure. I'm sorry I don't have better news here.
