Switch Account/Use a different account

mSecure was designed as a single-user app. If you need to switch accounts or start using a different account, you'll need to reinstall mSecure on your device in order to access the sign-in screen in mSecure.


Note: The purchase of an mSecure plan license is tied to the mSecure account used to purchase it with.


If using an iOS device, Android device, or PC computer:

  1. Go to mSecure in your device's app library or home screen
  2. Delete mSecure
  3. Reinstall mSecure from your devices app store

If using a Mac computer:

  1. Open mSecure
  2. Click the Option button on your keyboard and hold the key
  3. Click Help in the top menu bar
  4. Select the "Show Data file in Finder" option
  5. Close mSecure
  6. Remove the mSecure.mscb file (move it to the trash bin or click command+delete to remove it)
  7. Sign in to your account


or


  1. Quit mSecure on your Mac
  2. Open a Finder window and using the menus at the top, select the ‘Go’ -> ‘Go to Folder…’
  3. Enter
    ~/Library/Containers/com.mseven.msecuremac/Data/Library/Application Support/mSecure
  4. Click ‘Go’
  5. Move the mSecure.mscb file to the trash
  6. Re-launch mSecure
  7. Sign in to your account
