Switching Accounts or Using a Different Account

mSecure is designed as a single-user app. If you need to switch accounts or sign in with a different account, you must reinstall mSecure to access the sign-in screen. 

Important: Your mSecure plan license is linked to the account used for the original purchase.


Switching Accounts on iOS, Android, or Windows

  1. Locate mSecure in your device's app library or home screen.
  2. Delete mSecure from your device. 
  3. Reinstall mSecure from your device's app store (App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store). 
  4. Open mSecure and sign in with the new account.

Switching Accounts on a Mac

Option 1: Using the Help Menu

  1. Open mSecure.
  2. Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard.
  3. Click the Help in the top menu bar. 
  4. Select "Show Data File in Finder".
  5. Close mSecure.
  6. Deleted the mSecure.mscb file (move it to the Trash or press Command + Delete). 
  7. Reopen mSecure and sign in with your new account.

Option 2: Manually Deleting the Data File

  1. Quit mSecure.
  2. Open a Finder window. 
  3. In the top menu, select Go> Go to Folder...
  4. Enter the following path: "~/Library/Containers/com.mseven.msecuremac/Data/Library/Application Support/mSecure".
  5. Click Go.
  6. Delete the mSecure.mscb file.
  7. Reopen mSecure and sign in with your new account.
