Switching Accounts or Using a Different Account
mSecure is designed as a single-user app. If you need to switch accounts or sign in with a different account, you must reinstall mSecure to access the sign-in screen.
Important: Your mSecure plan license is linked to the account used for the original purchase.
Switching Accounts on iOS, Android, or Windows
- Locate mSecure in your device's app library or home screen.
- Delete mSecure from your device.
- Reinstall mSecure from your device's app store (App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store).
- Open mSecure and sign in with the new account.
Switching Accounts on a Mac
Option 1: Using the Help Menu
- Open mSecure.
- Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard.
- Click the Help in the top menu bar.
- Select "Show Data File in Finder".
- Close mSecure.
- Deleted the mSecure.mscb file (move it to the Trash or press Command + Delete).
- Reopen mSecure and sign in with your new account.
Option 2: Manually Deleting the Data File
- Quit mSecure.
- Open a Finder window.
- In the top menu, select Go> Go to Folder...
- Enter the following path: "~/Library/Containers/com.mseven.msecuremac/Data/Library/Application Support/mSecure".
- Click Go.
- Delete the mSecure.mscb file.
- Reopen mSecure and sign in with your new account.
