Seeking Guidance on Storing Video Files Securely with mSecure

Hello mSecure Community,

I hope everyone is doing well! I'm reaching out for some advice regarding an issue I'm facing with mSecure. I've been using this fantastic tool to manage my passwords and sensitive information for quite some time, and it has been incredibly helpful. However, I’m now looking to securely store some video files, and I need some clarity on whether mSecure is the right solution for this.

Here are the details of my situation:

Type of Videos: I have several important video files from the Wink video editor that I need to keep secure. These are personal and confidential, so ensuring their safety is a top priority.

File Sizes: Some of these videos are quite large, which raises concerns about storage capacity and performance within the app.

Security: My main concern is the encryption and protection of these video files from unauthorized access.

Access: It’s crucial for me to access these videos easily from both my mobile device and computer without a complicated process.

Backup: I also need a reliable backup solution in case something goes wrong with my device. I want to make sure these videos are never lost.

I’ve been exploring mSecure’s features, but I’m unsure if it supports video file storage or if it’s primarily designed for managing passwords and documents.

I would greatly appreciate guidance on the following:

Does mSecure support the secure storage of video files?

If yes, what is the best way to store and access large video files using mSecure?

Are there specific settings or steps I should follow to ensure these videos are encrypted and secure?

Any tips on managing large file sizes within mSecure?

Thank you all in advance for your assistance! I’m looking forward to your insights.

Hi William,

Thank you for contacting us. mSecure's primary purpose is for storing sensitive data like Login credentials or other information you would like to keep private. It also has robust support for the attachment of photos and document files like PDFs. For video files, mSecure only supports up to 20 MB file attachments, so it would not be suited for what you're trying to accomplish here.
