Unclear how others can use family subscription

I bought family and invited my wife. The invite says she must download the app. To download the app she has to subscrbe and pay also!! How to avoid paying again. I thought the family subscription allowed up to five users on the same subscription.

Hi Tom,

You have to add your wife's account to the "Family Members" section of the app's Settings. Inviting them to share data is not how you cover their account with a license. It's possible you already figured this out by what I'm seeing on your account. Were you able to get your wife's account added as a Family Member?
