Ensure Your Record Uses the Correct Field Types
AutoFill only works when your record contains:
- URL Field
- Username Field
- Password Field
Field names do not matter - only field types.
If a custom template uses plain Text Fields for these values, the record will not appear in Auto-Fill. To fix this, edit the record and:
- Switch to the Login template or
- Change the field types to URL, Username, and Password
- Move your existing data into the appropriate fields

In the screenshot below, you can see the correct field type for the Website field (URL), since the record is now using mSecure's default Login template.

Reporting Issues
Some websites use sign-in forms that macOS cannot recognize, which prevents AutoFill from working. If you encounter an issue:
- Click Submit a Ticket
- Include the website URL and a description of what happens
- Verify mSecure AutoFill is enabled in your Mac's settings
We'll investigate and let you know if the issue can be resolved.
