Auto-Backups - Windows
You can enable the auto-backups feature in mSecure for Windows. mSecure will automatically create backups of your information after 5 changes are detected once the auto-backups feature is enabled. You can use these backups to restore your information whenever needed.
Enabling Auto-Backups
- Open and unlock mSecure
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon on the bottom left area)
- Click Backups
- Enable the Auto-Backups toggle
- Select a location to store your auto-backups
Creating or Viewing an Auto-Backup
- Open and unlock mSecure
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon on the bottom left area)
- Click Backups
- Click Backup Now
- Create a backup in the Auto-Backups location
You can move any .msib backup file to the auto-backups folder location and the backup will be available.
Restoring from Auto-Backup
- Open and unlock mSecure
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon on the bottom left area)
- Click Backups
- Click one of your auto-backups
- Confirm that you'd like to restore from the backup file
- Enter your backup's password
