Resend Authentication Email

mSecure will send you an authentication email when you first sign in to your mSecure account or create an mSecure account in mSecure. However, you can always access your mSecure account key/QR code within the settings of mSecure, or resend the authentication email to yourself.

In order to be able to view your QR code or resend yourself the authentication email, you’ll need to be signed in to your mSecure account on at least one device already. The authentication email should arrive within a minute or so after signing in for the first time. Please make sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the authentication email in your email account. Find out more about the Authentication Email here.

IMPORTANT: Your Authentication email with your Encrypted Account Key (QR Code) is only sent to you once you sign in to your mSecure account for the very first time (after you created an account), if you manually resend the email through your mSecure Settings, or if you reset your account. You do not receive your QR code each time you sign into mSecure.

Note for iOS and Mac users: mSecure will save your encrypted account key on your iCloud Drive (if iCloud Drive is enabled). This makes it so that mSecure will first look for your encrypted account key on your iCloud Drive to authenticate your account. If no information is found or the current encrypted key is not valid, it will then display options to authenticate your mSecure account using your QR code instead. Otherwise, you will be automatically authenticated using your encrypted account key on your iCloud Drive.

There is no way to disable it being stored in iCloud Drive. This is standard across iOS and Mac devices you log into mSecure on.
